In other words, "I have nothing to contribute to this thread. I just wanted to post so I feel like I did something today and so I could say you all suck and I am better than you.

Oh, and I give good head."

Thanks for posting. You win the Internet.

You're rather hilarious. Thank you for also not contributing. I mean to say that your "soccer" is my football.

And to add to your comment, I'm not intolerant of homosexuals, just not one of them. If you'd like to be a homophobic asshat, be my guest.

Also thank you for the internet, sorry, your cheque just bounced.

The point is, "Don't shit-post just to shit-post."

Have something to add, or don't add it.

it's not even football season... in case you just woke up from a coma.

not trying to be a dick or anything (I actually am), but this board is based in america, and the language of america is american english, and thats what we should use here, stop trying to pull that "I use this instead of what you do to prove my dominance" shit, it's annoying.
what if I came here and started speaking in german? you would want me to stop? exactly.

Great for you. But, oh, last time I checked Canada was in the same continent, a little thing called America. North America to be exact. Canada uses BRITISH ENGLISH made by the country that created English. So before you tout your e-junk around, you should get a better name than that of a minor character in a stupid ass movie and be ready for a rebuttal.

To contribute to the discussion, I like the Ravens, because their uniforms are pretty sweet and I hear their rookie quarterback is pretty good.

This is a football thread. Take your bullshit elsewhere please, thanks.

I'm pretty nervous about the upcoming season. I thought it was absolute insanity to fire Shanahan. I also felt the only suitable replacements were Cowher (who I don't trust for the long haul) or Schottenheimer, who is for some reason one of the most under-rated coaches in the history of sports.

I was okay with Spagnuolo as an option too, since he had built such a masterful defense.

McDaniel was not on my "love list" even though I knew he'd be on everyone else's. I am not an offense oriented kind of football fan.

Now he's come in and I like a lot of the moves he's made. Nolan is back, we have a great Tight Ends coach, McDaniel is obviously good at offense... But it has been slightly clumsy at times. This last week or two with Cutler being one example.

It'll be a significant season for us, and I'll be watching to see what comes of this.

This could be the best of times. It could also be the worst of times.

I'm very anxious, somewhat nervous, but also cautiously optimistic about next season.

I'll definitely be paying close attention though.

I'm hoping the Bears can pull it together, but it's definitely going to take some work. Their defense has been going down hill, if you watch when they tackle and miss, it's almost always because they were spending more time trying to strip the ball or cause fumble than just getting the player to the ground.

And the offense is a whole other story. Their QB(s) are off and on, but even when they're on they aren't spectacular. Even so the line needs to be strengthened, it's hard for even a great QB to do well when they aren't given the time they need to throw the ball. Despite all the improvements they need I will still be rooting for them this year. Oh...and the Denver Broncos too.
>_>

I'm a fan of the Green Bay Packers, and yes I'm still angry over Favre being traded to the Jets, I honestly don't know what Thompson was thinking when he traded Favre, but anyway, even though I'm still a fan of the Packers, I laughed when they went went 6-10 and the Jets went 9-7. n:

Ah well. vn:v

So, since football season is in full swing, perhaps it's time to bump this thread a bit.

So basically, I'm a Cardinals fan. Laugh all you want, but we're doing pretty well this season. On the road at least. At home we kind of drop the ball (no pun intended).

How's everyone's team doing?

I mostly watch the Canadian Football League. The season is pretty much over when the NFL is just a couple months into starting. Basically the playoffs are done this week and next week is the championship game.
