Airsoft and Paintball

[CCCP]

In spirit of trying to get more people to post in other areas of the forum, I thought it I might as well.

I paintball, but I used to airsoft. On the topic of airsoft, however, our own Mantis does some pretty good reviews of his own guns, if he wishes he should post his channel link here (assuming you guys won't troll him).

I'd never post my channel here. I'd have internet tardos from this site spamming comments and shit, and I don't feel like cleaning it up. But yeah, I airsoft, and I do paintballing at a local arena sometimes.

I'd say, these guys are 2 legit 2 quit man!

I mean, they have guns and gear worth thousands of dollars, and they have massive 50 on 50 battles! EPIC

Whoever designed the version 2 gearbox is pure evil. I don't know about any other gearboxes, but it's damn near impossible to get that thing back together because of the anti reversal latch. But it's also kind of my fault because I tried to put an M120 in my gun. My gun is probably going to explode tomorrow.

Ah yes, I had one of those in my M4, it was a massive pain in the ass.

One of my friends has that exact gun and it kicks some serious ass. It's so accurate he put a scope on it and uses it as a DMR.

What about the orange tip? Can you just pull it off with a bit of force?

It has a threaded barrel so you can just unscrew it and either buy a black flash hider to put on, sand off the orange paint or just paint black right over it.

Is it hard to find/ expensive to get the gas for airsoft?

Cause Im sure wal mart doesnt carry green gas.

You can buy those little green Coleman propane tanks at Wal-Mart and get an adapter off Airsoft GI and you can use propane instead of green gas. You just need to clean it more often if you use propane. Also you can't use gas airsoft guns below freezing. One of my friends had a KWA Glock 18, used it in the winter and it exploded.

Yeah, you can get 3 Coleman propane tanks here for $15, and an adaptor is anywhere from $20-40.

Propane is cheaper and works just as good. Green gas is just propane mixed with silicon oil anyway.

Green gas is also overpriced, and if you just get a cleaning rod and some lube and clean your gun after or during matches, it should work fine.

Still. I think id still save money not having to get an adapter. An the military surplus has it.

And my mom might not let me get airsoft guns cause my stepdad told me to shoot her in the ass with my last one lol. It was only spring, but still.

Well your going to be paying like $20 or 30 on a can of green gas, and one can of that will do a LOT less refills then a propane tank will. You'll save money with propane.
