Battlefield: Bad Company 2

This is a thread where we can all make plans to meet on, discuss, or do whatever regarding the latest FPS by DICE.

So. Discuss. Who has it? I know Taep does, but does anybody else have it for PS3? I'm getting it sometime this week, so we should all have a game together for those who have it/are getting it.

I have it for 360, and I wanna start off by saying that in my opinion, this is a better game than Modern Warfare 2. No flaming on that, but does anyone else here think the same?

but as for BFBC2, it kicks ass! Loads of weapons, vehicles, maps, perks, and probably some of the best multiplayer of any shooter I've ever played.

I was in the PC beta, though, and had a great time. It's on my "want to buy but have no money" list.

Indeed, it's a game any fan of FPS or war games should get, even hardcore MW2 fanbitches.

Lag isn't the game mate, it's the people playing it. The only time I lead is guys from 300 meters out with my M24.

I'm talking single player fool. the engine makes bullet travel ridiculously inconsistent.

I tried playing MW2 last night, then I absolutely flipped my shit and swapped BC2 in and had a blast.

Also, one of the conquest maps is in Canada. When you go to play White Pass it zooms in to an area just east of Vancouver during the loading thing. One thing I want to know though is how it's winter in the northern hemisphere and fall in the southern hemisphere in this game.

I ended up buying BC2 considering my love of BC1 and nostalgia for the days of 1942 and Vietnam. Wise investment I'd say, the little bit I've gotten to play it with this shit service I've loved it some of the time.

While I agree EA had teething troubles with the servers, DICE and EA have been constantly updating and fixing the servers to run smoothly, not to mention unlike MW2 BC2 actually had dedicated servers!

Beg? I asked you twice, and I only asked for a recommendation. BC2 doesn't need to make as much as MW2 either, because even though I love playing MW2, when I play this I rage less and have more fun, end of story.
