So I'm not sure what you are apologizing for. If it involves the quantity of icons then I guess you will be removing some. Otherwise, I'm lost.

If we are to keep all of them then I do have one suggestion. Could they be alphabetized, categorized or something so we wouldn't spend 30 minutes looking for the appropriate icon for our purposes?

On another note, what the hell is a "choom"?

Choom is the name of a gang that apparently was present (but mostly harmless) in Barack (Barry at the time) Obama's high school. There's a picture of him on this page (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/11/29/barack-obamas-seventies-s_n_147085.html?page=3) (sixth picture in the slide show) and you can see a reference to "The Choom Gang" in the photo.

Some of the goons ran with it as a gag on SA and started their own Choom gang, which mostly hangs out or did hang out in FYAD.



We can't keep all of the icons. Not yet anyway. They'll be stored for later use, but we can't break them down into smaller groups. They're either on or off for each usergroup. Period.

We could categorize them, but we're not keeping this many fucking icons.

I do think we'll leave this up for a bit so people can take a peek at some of them if they want to. We're going to have to decide which ones to use and which ones to not use. We've already had that discussion and generally speaking we came to the conclusion that 49 post icons would be about all that was reasonable to keep (roughly 1 in 10 of what is shown on the reply page currently).

So... Take a look. There's the complete inventory. I think we'll leave this up a while. It's a good accident I guess, like Ivory Soap, the Slinky, or women.

I can see where some could certainly be used often when dressing up a thread. I would be concerned though if someone felt the following would be needed to help make their point:
