January 1933, Adolf Hilter takes power in the Machtergreifung. Six years later, he invades Poland with the assistance of the Soviet Union. On November 30th, 1939, the Soviet Union attempts to take Finland, a country that was essentially neutral. Today, we know that Finland had won, and Peace accords were signed. However, in this game, this is not the case. The Soviet Union has become much more powerful...

Now, all that matters is What You Believe In...

Game Info
Similar to the 2009 hit forum game "What You Believe In..." produced by CCCP, What You Believe In: Finland shows an alternate history if a major event in history had not gone as planned. Fierce rebels hate the puppet pro-Russian government. The Guard Jaegers are the Finnish Gendarmerie, there to keep order and justice, if you call what they do keeping it. The Helsinki Police are the normal Police Department, but are not as fierce as the Guard Jaegers. NATO has also sent in a group of Multi-National operatives to try to assist the insurrection against the communist government. The Red Army also maintains a small presence in the area. Or there are the Finnish Proletariat, who live life day by day making the same wages for their entire life.

The Factions

The Rebels- A group of freedom fighters, who use guerilla tactics in the same fashion as "What You Believe In..." 's Liberators. They use whatever they can get their hands on.

The Guard Jaegers- Similar to the SS of What You Believe In... these skilled fighters are the rebels' main enemy. Well trained and equipped. Some of the best trained soldiers in Urban Warfare. Don't mess with these guys.

The Red Army- Just as it would have been today, the Red Army is a large, but poorly trained military that is still fearful.

The Civilians- A normal communist civilian in the Cold War era. Did as they were told, or else.

The Helsinki Police- A Normal European Police Dept. Nothing to big here, but they are there to keep law and order.

NATO Special Forces Operatives- A very small group of men sent to Finland to train Rebels and fight the Russians underground.

Weaponry
Everyone's favorite part. You get a choice as to what you want, although the rebels can get just about anything.

Guard Jaegers - Primaries: RK95, PKM, Sako TRG-42, AKS-74U Secondaries: P226, Glock 17

Red Army - Primaries: AK-74M, RPK-74, PKM, Dragunov SVU Secondaries: Makarov, MP443
