I'm no conservative. I mean really, people should have the right to their own body. If they fuck up, they should be held liable. If they die, then their family can protest whatever they were on. But really, if it makes people feel good, let them do it, but I guess you could say under the moderation of common sense.

The funny thing is, that actually is the TRUE conservative view of it. Or at least very close.

I hate it.
If you need something to "escape your problems" or some crap like that, you'd shouldn't have fucked yourself to that point.
It seems to me that most children look to adults who speak against drugs, like D.A.R.E. Officers, laugh at them because they think it's not serious. Then, it's the people that do that that do the drugs.
Not like I'm some avid follower of Programs like that, I've always tried to treat adults with respect. So I actually paid attention to their message. Unlike most of my fellow students at my school.
I will state my opinion as shortly and concisely as possible.
On a philosophical level, in a VERY abbreviated sense...
I think that destroying your mind and body is not a wise decision, but, under the value of freedom and liberty and free will, is a personal choice, and that nobody has the authority to regulate what goes in and out of your body.
On a legal level...
The US Constitution doesn't give the authority to the government to regulate what people put in their bodies, as each person is given their own individual liberties. I believe that ANY drug laws would be state issues and that federal bans on drugs, especially softer drugs like marijuana, should be repealed.

I think Your right on the case of marijuana, but I the government lets use of all drugs like Pcp or coke it would hurt the economy because everyone would rather be doing drugs instead of working, also unlike cigarets and beer, drugs release endorphines only released when having sex (and some other thing cant remember though) so it naturaly makes people addicted to the things.
Once people are addicted they will do anything to get more of it even if they have no money hence so many drug induced crimes, and thats with drugs being illegal now imagine if they we're all legal.
Just my 2 cents on the subject.

Yeah, it's some kind of natural painkiller that comes out when you cut yourself. Speaking from experience, the high from it only lasts for a couple seconds. Then you feel like a retard for a couple days. I'm long over that stage though if you're going to accuse me of being emo, it's been a little over half a year since I last cut myself.

you cannot get addicted of weed, shrooms, LSD, MDMA/E, DMT, Benzos, or DXM.
the only addictive drugs are stims and opiates.
your brain chemistry while watching fireworks is the same as when you're having sex.
also endorphins are released into your brain ALL THE TIME. you watch TV, endorphins, listening to music? endorphins. shoot a basket, read a book, play videogames, go for a jog, eat food, have sex, play an instrument, look at flowers, endorphins.
a lesson in biology; your "feelings" are the result of the chemical mixtures in your brain. that doesn't make them any less valuable, it does however open them up to study. the "endorphins" that are quoted in all that anti-drug propaganda are how you feel good. seriously, if you enjoy something, its because of endorphins.

If smoking weed doesn't kill your brain cells then explain why it's always stoners that are failing all of their classes? I'm not saying every stoner fails all of their classes, it just seems like the people that are failing all of their classes usually are stoners.

Because weed smokers are idiots to begin with, you have to kill a lot of brain cells to be stupid/ not smart whatever you call it. Most of the time the weed smokers are the ones that just don't care about the class.
I have friends that have never token a hit from a blunt and are some of the fucking stupidest people I've ever meet, then again I have friends that smoke all the time and are really smart and actually have intelligent conversation about subjects all around like we are having right now.
Hitting your head against things kills brain cells, thats the only thing i really know that does.

Hmm... no drugs on the streets, but like...
There could be these places to where you're in a room with your buddies, where you can't hurt anyone, where you use the drugs and then you can leave when you sober up... controlled drug use. Lol.

Smoking Marijuana doesn't kill brain cells.

BUT...
Smoking Marijuana (Or anything else for that matter) in a poorly ventilated room/area or for extended periods without taking proper breaths, can deprive the brain of Oxygen and cause the synapses to shut down, essentially killing the brain cells.
