Billy Mays was found dead in his Tampa home on June 28, 2009. Mays was on board a US Airways flight that blew out its front tires as it landed at a Tampa airport on June 28, the day before his death. None of the 138 passengers and five crew members were injured in the incident, but several passengers reported having bumps and bruises, according to the station. It is unsure whether Mays' death was related to the incident.

That's true. At least he wasn't violently killed.
Of course, that means no more Pitchmen on Discovery Channel after their last episode that they filmed.

Mays' friend, radio host Todd Schnitt of "The MJ Morning Show," said he called Mays about 10 p.m. Saturday after seeing him interviewed on TV. Mays was getting ready for bed.
"He said he was tired; he had some stuff fall on him in the airplane," Schnitt said. "He hit his head when the [flight] landed."
They should have used the Ding King, the do-it-yourself dent, ding, and head injury remover.

CNN REPORTS THAT THE BUMP ON THE PLANE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH BILLY'S DEATH.

I think the current influx of deaths proves that silly out-of-nowhere whatever-that-is to be little more than annoying.
Who have we had lately? Not just Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Michael Jackson, and Karl Malden (where's his thread?!), but also Bea Arthur, Dom DeLuise? I guess six or seven doesn't rhyme as well, does it.
