So it's time for me to download a new chat application.

I was thinking of going with Trillian just because AIM is such a disgusting thing that I don't want it anywhere near my computer (nor Windows live or MSN network).

Anyone know of a good, reputable download site for Trillian?

No. Which one's the official web site? I'd presume Trillian.com, but I don't actually know and let's bear in mind that my last PC got bricked by a web site's virus. I'm a tad paranoid just now.

Well, no. I did a google search the same as you did, Airstrike. What I wanted to know was which site was the official site, which you did not provide.

I called someone who actually knew though, so it's all good.

Now I wonder if I want basic or pro.

Back on topic, I would personally go with the basic because I'm a cheap-ass high school kid with no job or money.

edit: if you plan on using something other than AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo or IRC you need pro. I bought pro, and other than plugins theres not much else it offers (different skins and buddy list icons). That said, its a great product and Im happy I paid for it.

It's for Trillian Pro, not Trillian Basic. I do love Trillian so far though. I'm going to look into what it costs.
