Okay, so I got my new PC, but I couldn't get the damned sound to work. I thought that perhaps my speakers from my old PC were incompatible with the new system and I have me mah iTunes and I do love me some music.
My PC was also down almost two weeks.
In short, I was jonesin' for some tunes.
So I just got off the phone with tech support who said the same thing - that the speakers were incompatible with the new system. After resigning myself to having to fork over the better part of 600 bucks to buy a new system up to snuff for my standards, I thought I should give it one last try and started randomly plugging the speakers in wherever they fit.
Kind of like a Catholic girl at prom, but I digress.
In any case, I managed to hit pay-dirt and I got the speakers to work!
This is the part where you go, "WOOT!"
Anyway, so I fired these suckers up and man oh man... The quality is twice as good on the new PC and the sound is twice as loud. I seriously went next door to the neighbors to make sure I wasn't bothering them for the first time ever!
Anyway, I'm totally thrilled and completely stoked, and I finally got me some tunes going again. I'll be jammin' out to some Bruce Hornsby, Kansas, Billy Joel, and a myriad of others for about the next two months non-stop to get over the absence of it.
Holy crap, this is :phenomenal:
Oh, wait. I had a point...
So when I got my iTunes reinstalled once I got the speakers working, it asked me if I wanted to authorize the tunes on this PC. I said yes. It then said, "You have now authorized this music on two PCs out of 5 possible."
Well... It stands to figure that the other PC I authorized these songs on was my old one.
How do I de-authorize the old one since I won't be needing it any more?
