Good ol' Cob. How long has it been since I played that?
What can you tell me about Loom?

I can tell you that it took me over THREE YEARS to beat it! I kept giving up whenever I'd forget to jot down a particular spell. Not only am I trying every spell I know to figure out a puzzle, that I'm not even certain I'm supposed to be at yet, but I don't even know how far back I have to go to find the melody. Ugh. Good thing for GameFAQs.
Can we get more information on LOOM?
If it's an abbreviation, what does it stand for? A link would be cool. If you can link to your character or some pics (and give examples of game play) that'd be helpful.
I honestly thought this thread was about making cloth of some sort from the outside. I guess part of that is because of a lack of good post icons. Someone should bitch at The Gremlins to get that taken care of.
But yeah, more info in the OP would
Oh, smilies too. We need smilies. Bitch about that too.
I'm not Goro this time

What the fuck is LOOM anyways? I'm too lazy to Google it.

LOOM is a game where you play as Bobbin Threadbare, a lad from a village of be-robbed people who use a kind of music-based magic.
The game begins when some shadowy group of Higher-Ups are discussing Bobbin's fate, when they all get turned into swans before his very eyes and fly off into the night.
Bobbin, being rather oblivious to intrigue, sets off across the seas and throughout the lands to find a way to rejoin his lost tribe, hopefully by becoming a swan himself.
To interact with the world, you can play musical notes on your staff. Throughout the world there will be objects or phenomena that release musical tones, and you can play as many notes as your staff can handle: initially, it can only play the simplest of tunes and the smallest of magics, but, but interacting and learning enough spells, you can learn more complex abilities and play lengthier tunes.
Speaking of which, the one bad point about the game is that the game doesn't remember the notes for you, and they're randomized between gameplays. You have to remember them yourself, and GameFAQs can't help you out.
Screens and other images to come in the future.
